The Gran Premio Iveco de Aragón will see Ducati Factory rider Andrea Dovizioso celebrating his 200th Grand Prix start.
Dovi debuted in MotoGP back in 2001 and he also became 125cc World Champion in 2004. The 250cc title never came, as he lost the battle with Jorge Lorenzo twice.

2008 saw Dovizioso debuting in the premiere class, with JiR Team Scot MotoGP. Along his career, Dovi rode Honda, Yamaha and Ducati machinery, with his last podium finish achieved on a Tech3 Yamaha, last year at the very same Aragon circuit. Andrea Dovizioso has only one win in his roster, at Donnington Park in 2009, with Repsol Honda.

“I really didn’t know that I would be reaching the milestone of 200 GPs at Aragon! It’s really nice to do a lot of races in the World Championship and it’s something really important for the rider. When I was young, for me it was impossible to think about being a part of the World Championship, so I’m really happy to have reached this milestone but it also means that I’m getting quite old!” the Italian Rider told MotoGP.com.

Dovi currently sits in the 8th position in the world standings, with 104 points, followed by his actual team mate Hayden, with 95. However, Dovizioso is in fighting position with Bautista (112 points) and Bradl (124). Starting with 2014, Cal Crutchlow will be Dovizioso's team mate at Ducati.
