The Lincoln MKS is more of a cruiser than a bruiser, so a comfortable ride is a must. That’s why, with the introduction of the 2013 MY that was unveiled yesterday, the manufacturer has introduced Lincoln Drive Control.
The system comes with two settings omfort and Sport, which change steering, throttle response, shifting speed and the way the electronic stability control cuts in.
The 2013 MKS also comes with Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) instead of conventional dampers. This adjust the suspension setup 500 times a second to offer the best balance of comfort and handing.
“The original MK vehicles were, in some ways, deliberately provocative,” said Max Wolff, Lincoln Design director. “The styling of the new MKS adds both refinement and elegance to the car while visually lowering and widening the front end. The continuous bright surround linking the grille and headlamps is particularly rich and adds something significant to what is already an expressive, balanced design.”
