Lincoln MKS Tuned by Hennessey Performance

The Lincoln MKS isn’t quite the average automotive target in tuning houses’ crosshairs, so it comes as a bit of a surprise that someone offers a modification program for the car.

US-based tuner Hennessey Performance has developed a performance tuning package for the MKS. The car’s 355 HP and 350 lb-ft EcoBoost V6 engine has received Hennessey Performance’s 435 upgrade pack and now offers a hefty 435 HP (at 5,400 rpm) and 405 lb-ft of torque (at 3,000 rpm).

The 80 HP and 55 lb/ft premium was achieved through the use of a dual cold air system, a polished intercooler piping upgrade, a CORSA stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, new gaskets and a remaped ECU.

The upgrade allows the MKS to leave the 60 mph mark behind in 4.5 seconds from a standing start. The car needs 13 seconds to complete a quarter mile run and will post a speed of approximately 106 mph at the drag run’s end. You can see how the car performs during such a run in the video below.

Hennessey Performance offers exterior Hennessey (comes in a chrome or black finish) and Maxboost 435 badges, in order to visually differentiate the car from its standard siblings. The car also uses Hennessey embroided headrests and two serial numbered plaques - one for the engine and one for the dashboard. The company offers a one-year or 12,000-mile warranty for its latest creation.

The Hennessey Performance 435 power upgrade kit can be yours for $ 3,495 (this price does not include installation charges).
