Good to see Honda experimenting on the classic Shadow: this is the foundation of many good things to come in the future, especially as the present looks so appealing already.
For 2013, Honda fine-tunes a classic favorite Shadow bike and turns it a bit on the mean side. The Shadow RS comes with a peanut-shaped tank, a heritage of the old flat-track racing machines of old, higher footpegs and smaller, straighter handlebars.

The instruments are gathered in a single-body gauge, now mounted directly on the handlebar and offering easy-to read essential data. A nifty change in the Shadow design is the chain final transmission, eliminating the convenience of the shaft, but offering the classic roadster styling.

The fuel-injected 745cc V-Twin drivers a wide-ration 5-speed tranny delivering both torque for cross-town rides and speed for highway cruises. The 2013 Honda Shadow RS price and ABS option availability are still to be announced.
