Honda has just released two videos on their new CTX1300 motorcycle, a rather nifty combination between a touring bike and a bagger. This new member of the CTX family is aimed at riders who are in search of the street cred a cruiser brings and the convenience offered by a touring or bagger boasts.
It's nice to see Honda bringing back the old-school engine architecture in a modern guise. Together with the design cues the CTX1300 draws from the old DN-01 and this year's amazing F6B, we're happy to see older, classical and new ideas reinterpreted and mixed into a fresh machine.

The bike is loaded with features any modern tourer proudly shows off and can serve as as daily ride to work and as a getaway for weekend (or longer) trips. Now exactly sure how comfortable it is in the busy city traffic, but on the open highway this machine looks like solid fun.

Add in shaft drive and generous integrated storage as standard, with self-canceling turn signals, stereo, blacked-out styling accents and ABS as Deluxe package treats. We'll be back with more tech details and prices soon.
