The Citroen C4 Picasso wasn't the only family-oriented vehicle tested by Euro NCAP recently, as results for the new Honda CR-V have also been released today.
The small off-road 4x4 scored the top five stars and performed well in all tests. For adult occupants, the British-built vehicle received an impressive 93%, receiving adequate or good marques in all areas.
Based on dummy readings, the CR-V scored maximum points for its protection of the 1½ dummy in the dynamic tests, yielding a 74% overall score for child occupant protection.
The bumper scored maximum points for the protection it offered to pedestrians' legs. The protection provided to the head of a struck pedestrian was predominantly good or adequate, Euro NCAP said.
