Drag racing might seem like a simple form of motorsport and, if you’ve got an out-of-the-box racer such as the 2013 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, things should go as smooth as possible.
Well, as the adjacent video shows, reality proves to be a bit more complicated. The clip allows us to see a Cobra Jet pulling a massive wheelie, but the happiness fades quickly, as the run ends with a crash.
This all seems like a huge driving error - as the car lifts its front end into the air, the driver steers to the right and when the nose lands, the car is obviously send violently to one side. From this point on, the car enters a state of oversteer and ends up hitting both walls.
Thankfully, the driver of the second Mustang that took part in the race was more careful, braking early and managing to avoid getting his car involved in the accident.
