The One Ford strategy is spreading across the globe at a fast pace. Two brand new SUV models built under this strategy are going to soon join the Australian market, the C-segment Kuga, which is the same model as the 2013 Ford Escape sold in America, and the B-segment EcoSport, designed in Brazil.
Both models will make their official Australian debut at the upcoming Sydney Motor Show, and the Kuga’s on-sale date in Australia has already been confirmed for the first quarter of 2013.

The introduction of the new Kuga which is built on a global platform comes only a few month after the launch in Australia of the old Kuga, the one sold in Europe, for $38,990.

The 2013 model will offer much more economical engines, better features and styling borrowed from the Focus.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
