The new Focus ST and indeed any third-generation Focus are a sort of acquired taste. While Volkswagen made the Golf look as simple as possible, Ford created a veritable starship of a hatchback that takes some time to get used to.
Thankfully, tuner MS Design has found a way to make the brand new Focus ST a pleasant car to look at. he Austrians have today sent us a preview of a full body kit that will officially debut at the Geneva Motor Show in about a month's time.
Cosmetically, the ST has been differentiated using a new front spoiler, revised side skirts and a rear diffuser, as well as a large tailgate spoiler. The car has also been equipped with cool new 20-inch alloy wheels that have a substantial look and feel to them, thanks to large black spokes and white windows.
MS Design has not yet released any details regarding a powertrain upgrade for the 2-liter EcoBoost engine, which in this application makes 250 PS. The standard model gets from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, but we anticipate a remap will shave a few tens off that time.
