Prepare to drool over the fresh 2013 BMW F 800 GS Adventure, BMW's newest take on the acclaimed F 800 GS machine.
Targeting those who want a bike that's lighter than the flagship R 1200 GS, but sporting the same off-road-worthy character and resilience, the 2013 BMW F 800 GS Adventure promises to be an epitome of agility and touring practicality, while making no compromise as far as off-the-road fun is concerned.
The F 800 GS Adventure is powered by the same engine like its brother: a liquid-cooled 798 cc 4-valve twin-cylinder EFI unit, closed-loop catalytic converter and 6-speed gearbox. The bike power rating is unchanged: 63 kW (85 HP) at 7,500 rpm and 83 Nm (61 lb-ft) of torque at 5,750 rpm.
The new features include a larger, 24-liter tank (6.34 gal), standard ABS and ASC (Automatic Stability Control) and Electronic Suspension Adjustment are factory-fitted options. An Enduro mode is available with the ASC.
Other noticeable enhancements for the 2013 BMW F 800 GS Adventure: stronger subframe, more comfortable seats, larger windshield, wide footrests, stronger foot brake lever, engine guards and pannier rack now serves as tank protectors, too. Mileage has also improved, as BMW says.
The first 1000 bikes will be the Launch Edition bike in an exclusive Sandrover matte paint. We will be back with prices soon.
