Unlike the usual video reviews we’re used to, the one you’re about to see is done completely from a first-person view and really goes into detail, being almost half an hour long.
Saabkyle04 and his Youtube channel took a closer look at the 2013/2014 Alpina B7 long wheelbase, a benchmark in luxury and performance when it comes to tuned 7 Series. Thinking about it, I find it hard to come up with a better version of a 7 Series from any other tuner out there.

Some might say that Alpina has its own VIN numbers and therefore should be called a manufacturer but I prefer to call it a tuner, as it doesn’t build the cars from scratch but rather enhances them.

The B7 Biturbo is based on the 750i model, taking the stock 4.4-liter V8 biturbo engine up to 540 HP and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque from the standard 450 HP and 650 Nm. The transmission is handled by the same 8-speed automatic gearbox with slight improvements done to the software management by Alpina.

The interior is decked with bits and pieces from the tuner, including the instrument cluster, steering wheel, door mats and even headrest being revamped. Outside, the car received a slightly new look with a new lip up front and a boot lid spoiler around the back, not to mention the turbine-style wheels.

We won’t go into further details, we’ll leave Kyle to do some more explaining in the video below.
