With the gas price growing each year and car insurance following the same route, it seems that teenagers are loosing their interest in owning their first car.
However, Toyota tries to bring back the car into kids’ soul with the Camatte concept. It was first seen in 2012 and this year, the concept also got a convertible version. The electric three seater was specially designed so that children can drive it.

The minimalistic vehicle has only a handful of controls, easy to understand even by a 10-year-old: an on/off button, a knob to put the car in forward or reverse, steering wheel, brake, accelerator and light switches.

The first Camatte concept has been recently put to the test by a Telegraph journalist and his son to see what is with the “Play with me” three-seater. See the review and the short video here.
