We’ve just covered the new 2012 xD Release Series 4.0 limited edition, of which 800 will be made and sold in North America, and now it’s time to take a look at the 2012 Scion xB Release Series 9.0 that was also recently revealed.
The model is offered exclusively in the Hot Lava paint scheme with a honeycomb patterned lower grille that is covered with the company’s name in bright lettering. There’s also a cool feature that illuminates the front and rear badges when you unlock or lock your car.
Inside, there’s only one change - perforated synthetic suede front and rear seat covers with Scion written on them and Hot Lava stitching.
Production will be limited to just 1,500 units. Prices start at $18,840 for the manual gearbox model, and $19,790 for the automatic version.
