Scion has revealed today that it will be displaying its latest limited-production 2011 xB Release Series 8.0 in the carmaker's booth at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The custom model will arrive at dealerships later this month.

The 2011 Scion xB Release Series 8.0 features a new four-piece body kit designed Kenstyle, including aggressive front and rear lip and side skirts. Voodoo Blue will be used to color the outside of the car, a color that is not currently available in other Scion models. As an option, you can have the rear spoiler finished in the same new color as the body.

What’s also new to the Scion xB RS 8.0 is the gigantic sunroof that features power tilt and slide function, not currently available on regular xB models. A fresh black fabric with blue accents covers the seats door panels and headliner. The floor mats also sport accents in the same color as the exterior, with logos coming in the form of "xB RS 8.0".

Scion only plans to make 2,000 units (which is a good thing in our eyes), while each car will have its own individual number Release Series backlight in... blue, what else.

The car will come with a retail price of $18,405 (EUR13,470) when equipped with a manual transmission, and $19,355 (EUR14,324) with an automatic transmission. The color-matched rear spoiler is the only extra optional unique to the RS, costing $320, or EUR235 (not including installation.)

As is the case with most Scion Release Series model, it does not come with new wheels or an engine modification. Lets hope this car doesn’t give you the blues.
