The Japanese are taking the Acura badged off the NSX Concept that was revealed in Detroit and are changing them for Honda ones in order to show the car at the Geneva Motor Show, where this AWD hybrid of the near future will make its European debut.
Right now, the concept is fitted with a hybrid AWD system, but if we’re lucky they’ll renounce the Acura mainstay and go for a regular setup.

The new NSX has a mid-mounted V6 that’s part of the new SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) hybrid system. We don’t have output figures for the engine, but we do know that the V6 offers direct injection, so we expect almost 350 hp and a combined output for the whole powertrain of about 400 or so horsepower.

Certainly, this thing is low and has the right looks, and all we need now is the right engine. The time is now for Honda to slap on a turbo V6.
