It seems that, despite the devastating effects of the Thai floods, Honda will manage to launch the 2012 CR-V in the US according to plan, as Automotive News reports. Honda had previously warned dealers that the CR-V launch could be delayed by a few weeks due to a shortage of parts produced in Thailand, but the company has managed to overcome the situation.
However, a separate report of the aforementioned source indicates that Honda will still slow down production at six plants in the US and Canada due to the Thai floods, with the problem scheduled to be solved on November 23 in the US and November 25 in Canada.
We'll remind you that the new Civic hasn't been so lucky, with a parts shortage cause by the natural disaster delaying the model's launch.
