2011 Suzuki Swift X-ITE Accessories Launched in Germany

Ever since it was launched back in 2005, the Suzuki Swift has enjoyed a reputation for being a compact car that you actually wanted to own, due to its enjoyable ride distinctive looks and decent price tag. However, being cute and small isn’t enough on the competitive European market, with automakers like Fiat and smart offering factory-fitted accessories that set their models apart in a parking lot.

In a move that targets buyers who are looking for an individual look for their car, Suzuki has also announced a new range of factory accessories for its Swift compact, but only for the German market. The lineup is marketed under the “X-ITE” brand and includes a variety of styling parts for both the interior and exterior of the new generation car.

Let’s start with the exterior, where the X-ITE package adds sporty decals along the side of the car, new 17-inch charcoal-colored alloy wheels wrapped in performance tires, and a bespoke body kit incorporating a redesigned front bumper and front apron, stylish side skirts and a rear tailgate spoiler. We think that Swift shown in the picture Suzuki has provided is just as good-looking as the Sport version of the car, if not better.

The mods don’t stop there, as the X-ITE program gives buyers a chance to spruce up the interior as well, offering brushed aluminum details, a new sports gear knob, as well as a set of stainless steel door sill kick panels to match the metallic theme. Special edition floor mats complete the package, detailed in silver stitching with X-ITE logos.

Suzuki says the range of accessories can be bought individually or as a complete set, with prices starting from €65 for the door sill panels and going up to €620 for the 17-inch alloy wheels. We think these little details offer customers the chance to personalize their cars without compromising the overall look.
