What does a city car need to be these days? The answer is simple. It has to be green, and the new Suzuki Regina concept is about the greenest car we’ve ever seen, it’s even green on the inside. The only way it can be greener if only worked while on grass.
The new concept looks very French to us in its design, but it was actually designed in Japan. It’s going to have its official unveil at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, where it’s sure to get a lot of attention for its retro looks.

For Suzuki, this is a new way of thinking really, because they say the car that’s smaller than a Swift has a total weight of just 730kg (1,609 pounds). While it doesn’t have an engine under the bonnet (which exists), the Japanese automaker says that it could set new standards in both efficiency and low emissions, as the Regina could emit only 70 g/km of CO2.
