2011 Suzuki Boulevard M109R Gets New Color Option

The North American division of Suzuki has just announced that the 2011 Boulevard M109R will now be available in black for the 2011 model year, in addition to the current Candy Indy Blue and M109R Limited Edition Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Max Orange. Suzuki says the new color option will be available in limited quantities at authorized dealers nationwide.

As the company’s flagship Boulevard cruiser, and the most powerful cruiser Suzuki has ever produced, the M109R is powered by a 1783cc fuel-injected V-twin powerplant. Also, another thing that makes it so special is the rear wheel that is wrapped in a huge 240mm Dunlop rear tire – the largest ever used on a Suzuki motorcycle.

Also new for 2011, the M109R features an instrument cluster with a digital tachometer and LED indicator light as well as a newly included gear position indicator.

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturers design team also relocated the cluster from the handlebars to the top of the headlight cowl.

Adding to the visual impact is the 2-into-1-into-2 stainless steel chromed exhaust system that features Suzuki's digitally controlled SET (Suzuki Exhaust Tuning) system for optimum engine performance and a powerful V-twin sound.

The bike also comes with a sleek and wide fuel tank with a 5.2-gallon fuel capacity that flows into integrated side covers and the comfortable low seat, and is finished off by a stylish radiator cowl.

Pricing for the 2011 Boulevard M109R was set at $14,099, while the limited edition Black variant rests at $14,499.
