Back in 2021, Suzuki Motor USA unveiled the new GSX-S1000GT. Although it’s a high-performance and sporty-looking motorcycle, the S1000GT can be very comfortable riding for any distance at speed.

Based on the Suzuki GSX-R engine, the 999cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, in-line four, comes with updated components, including revised intake and exhaust camshafts, cam chain tensioners and valve springs, and a redesigned clutch. Equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) technology, the S1000GT has electronic cruise control, five adjustable traction control modes, and bi-directional clutchless quick shifting.

For better handling and road-holding ability, the S1000GT has a strong twin-spar aluminum frame and braced swingarms. The sub-frame design allows secure attachment points for the 37L side cases (which, by the way, are optional, except on the GT+ where they are fitted as standard), and creates a more comfortable passenger seat.

The suspension of the bike is fully adjustable, so it benefits when riding with a passenger, while the four-piston, Brembo-front brake calipers, and the 310 mm rotors generate the stopping performance needed.

The bike has a 6.5-inch new-generation TFT display which is the first of its kind used on a Suzuki motorcycle, and it’s mounted into the inner fairing above the handlebars. The handlebar offers a more comfortable reach due to its shape and position and the fact that is wider than than on the previous generation.

The Suzuki GSX-S1000GT is available in two colors (black and blue), and it has a base price of $13,799.
