Just like a true celebrity, the Lexus LFA arrived extra-late at the supercar table, with Toyota using a diamond-finish approach for all the aspects of the vehicle. Speaking of “finish”, Lexus is using this year’s edition of the Detroit Auto Show to bring the LFA into the spotlights once again, with the company introducing an orange coat for the vehicle.

Yes, when you’re a vehicle that comes with such a high level of “Wow!”, a new factory color is enough to get the crowds screaming.

Here’s how the automotive producer describes the LFA: “The new Lexus LFA marks an important moment in both the history of Lexus and the development of the supercar. A true "clean-sheet" design, the Lexus LFA was created by a small, passionate and dedicated team of engineers whose achievement has been to push the boundaries of technologies materials and engineering at every stage to produce a car like no other to have carried the Lexus badge.

We’ll remind you that the vehicle, which had made a religion out of carbon fiber use, is powered by a 4.8 liter V10 unit, which allows the driver to play with 553 hp and a maximum torque of 480 Nm. Yes, the figures might not sound so high in today’s power-obsessed world, but this car is not only about performance, but also comes with a sky-high level of attention to details and exclusivity.

"The Lexus LFA is a thoroughbred supercar, a machine engineered to achieve a single goal - to deliver a supreme driving experience. Over the past decade we have pushed every boundary in pursuit of this goal and I believe we have created the most driver-orientated car we possibly could," said Lexus Chief Engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi.
