2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Prices and Specs Leaked

The next generation Jeep Grand Cherokee is not quite here yet, but all the details regarding the model have been leaked by The new model will be made available, according to the source, in three versions, Laredo, Limited and Overland (yes, with no SRT version in sight, apparently) and will come with eight option packages.

Pricing will start at $31,480 (including destination charges) for the base Laredo and reach as much as $45,770 for the Overland.

The new Grand Cherokee will come equipped with a 3.6l Pentastar V6 engine paired to a 5 speed automatic transmission. As an option, a 5.7l HEMI will also be offered.

The novelties brought by the new Cherokee include Aircraft-inspired front and rear LED lamps, Automatic Crash Notification, Emergency Call, Remote Door Unlock and Stolen Vehicle Location Assistance Quadra Lift adjustable air suspension system or 20 inch aluminum polished wheels.

The option packages mentioned above are Electronic Infotainment System, Luxury II, Off Road I & II, Popular Equipment Group, Technology Group, Trailer Tow, and Trailer Tow IV.

The Cherokee will be made available in 8 exterior colors and five interior trims.

The new Grand Cherokee will be first shown, if we are to trust the leaked information, this month, at the Chicago Auto Show. The Jeep is scheduled for market release in June. Until then, enjoy the gallery below.
