2011 Honda Odyssey Pricing Announced

Honda has released the pricing for the 2011 Odyssey minivan. The vehicle is a little bit more expensive than the model it replaces, with the difference being found on all the models in the range.

The vehicle can be ordered in one of the five trim levels available: LX, EX, EX-l, Touring and Touring Elite (this one is new). All the models are only offered with a 3.5 liter V6 powerplant that uses Honda’s VTEC system and produces 248 hp.

The engine offers an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 19/28/22 mpg for the city/highway/combined cycle for the Touring and Touring Elite equipped with a six-speed automatic gearbox. As for the LX, EX and EX-L incarnations that feature a five speed automatic transmission, these offer 18/27/21 mpg respectively.

The list of standard safety features for all the models in the range includes side curtain airbags that use a rollover sensor, side airbags for the driver and front passenger, with the latter using an Occupant Position Detection, dual-stage front airbags, active head restrains for the front seats, electronic stability control and ABS with electronic brake distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist.

The 2011 Honda Odyssey can be yours starting from a price of $27,800, for the LX model, with the most expensive model, the Touring Elite, starting at $43,250. The prices do not include the destination and handling charge that sits at $780. The figures can be translated into a 2.5 percent increase over the prices of the 2010 models.

The 2011 Honda Odyssey is scheduled to reach showrooms across the country on September 30.
