2010 Renault Koleos UK Specifications

Renault has just announced UK specifications for the 2010 Koleos, a compact SUV that comes with several equipment upgrades over its predecessor. According to figures given by the French manufacturer, the Koleos, which was launched last year, already sold around 2,000 units this year. And Renault targets even better sale for the 2010 spec car.

The Dynamique S 2.0 dCi 150 4x4 is one of the versions that received the most important upgrade. The car initially included equipment such as climate control, Renault hands free key card, electrically heated and folding door mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, roof rails and automatic lights and wipers, but the 2010 version will also add a BOSE sound system that includes a digital amplifier, seven loudspeakers and a woofer, a six-CD/MP3-compatabile multi-changer, 3D Satellite Navigation with a 16/9, seven-inch screen and DVD atlas, hands-free Bluetooth telephone link and metallic paint.

Once again, Renault praises its models and points to their direct competitors, saying that Koleos are by far more advantageous for buyers looking for this type of car.

For example, when compared with Tiguan Escape, the Koleos brings its buyer more than 3,000 pounds worth of additional equipment as standard. For instance, it comes with climate control, cruise control, parking sensors, 3D colour Satellite Navigation and Bluetooth as standard, while most of them are offered as option on the Tiguan. This means a buyer would pay a total price of £26,160 for the VW as opposed to £22,805 for Koleos.

The Dynamique dCi 150 4x4 will be sold at a price of 22,805 pounds and produces an average of 191 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
