There are two types of car owners who love to customize their rides – those who do it themselves and those who let others do it for them. Which one are you?
Anyway, while you ponder your answer, let me show you that it takes quite a bit of talent to be part of the DIY (do-it-yourself) team, and nowadays, you can't just take a hammer and tinker away. Instead, it takes both manual skill and the genius of 'premonition' to envision the finished product before you start working on it. The other case is quite simple, indeed – you just work out a budget and an aftermarket outlet that will accommodate it.

Back to the DIY ideas, we love to keep tabs on the imaginative realm of digital car content creators because they can easily come up with wacky or beautiful ideas about cars that no one thinks about or dream of the next generation of your favorite car before it's actually real. There's also an interesting category of pixel masters who have taken things to the next level – they not only envision the future of the automotive industry but also actively participate in DIY projects.

For example, we have seen folks like Brad (aka bradbuilds), who makes conceptual car art but also builds things and works on automobiles at the same time. There is also the curious case of Oscar Vargas, the virtual artist better known as wb.artist20 on social media, who continues to dream of automotive stuff that can also be made in the garage – like a Dodge Charger Ute or a facelift for the personal Dodge Challenger, among other stuff.

As it turns out, it seems that Abimelec Arellano, a designer better known as abimelecdesign on social media, is actively thinking of joining them with a fresh project concerning his daily driver – a 2010 fifth-generation S-197 II Ford Mustang GT dressed in Grabber Blue. Not long ago, he brought back to the forefront of his social media reel some old thoughts of making his 2010 Mustang GT into a rally-raid type of car.

Naturally, since he's a talented CGI expert, he also materialized these dreams in the parallel universe of vehicular CGI – where his Grabber Blue fastback coupe is now a bit wild on the body mods side of things, even though the author doesn't think so. However, we would beg to disagree, given the gutted wheel arches and rear valence plus front fascia, the added stainless steel skid plates at the front and in the back, or the 'slightly' lifted suspension setup.

Additionally, he also added the classic yellow KC HiLiTES off-road lights, some dark and contrasting Black Rhino aftermarket wheels, big Falken Wildpeak tires, and even removed the front grille completely. Now, of course, he fell in love with the transformation and is actively contemplating the decision to give this tough stance a go, build it, "and go drift it in gravel and mud." Naturally, he's also asking the opinion of his fans about the potential DIY journey, so if you want to see it done – give him a heads up in the comments section of the post embedded below.
