Especially since the new Z06 came out over two years ago (how time flies!), the C8 generation Chevrolet Corvette is obviously the one to go for. But not many people can afford to blow upwards of $100k on one, hence why they'd be better off with an older copy.
If you feel like the C6 has aged like a fine wine and not milk, then this Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is certainly worth a look. Mind you, despite the appealing presentation with not that much wear for a car that came out for the 2008 model year, there is a big drawback.

You could look at the pictures accompanying the ad that we shared in the gallery above, and you still couldn't be able to tell what's wrong with it. Therefore, we'll proceed to tell you that it has a salvage/rebuilt title. This means that it was pretty much ruined at one point, and someone brought it back from the dead.

With a black exterior on top of a black cabin, this 2008 Chevy Corvette Z06 comes with C8 replica wheels. It also has new headers and a Corsa cat-back exhaust system, and it is said to be good for 505 horsepower. Those keeping track of the numbers know that it's the output of the stock LS7, the 7.0-liter V8 engine, which lies under that long hood. Everything goes to the rear axle via a six-speed manual gearbox.

At one point, its owner decided it needed an update inside that would make it feel a bit more modern. As a result, it received a Pioneer touchscreen infotainment system, which may fit very well in the dashboard panel right below the central air vents, but it doesn't do justice to this model, which is pretty much a modern classic. Fortunately, the upgrades ended here, as it appears to be all original beyond this point.

Those interested in making it theirs should also know that it hasn't seen much action. It has 27,436 miles (44,154 km) on the odo, though it is unknown whether that's the original mileage or how many miles it has clocked after it was resurrected. We'd advise anyone looking to spruce up their life with a car that has such a title to perform an inspection prior to purchasing. As for the finances, this 2008 Corvette Z06 is $43,900.

A new Stingray, with its 495-hp rear mid-mounted V8, is $68,300 before destination, whereas the flat-plane crank V8-powered new-gen Z06 starts at $112,700. The 655-horsepower E-Ray, which is the electrified version with all-wheel drive, has an MSRP of $104,900 for the 2024 model year. So, would you get this 2008 Z06 if you were shopping for such a ride, or would the rebuilt title keep you away from it?
