We remember these things were selling like hotcakes back in the day. Because they were more efficient than American minivans, demand was really high. There was even a waiting list believe it or not, and some dealerships were sticking high premiums to profit. Most Odysseys of thisera are still on the road and working just fine, but Regular Cars has managed to find a really bad one with seemingly everything broken on it. It's pitted, it's ugly and boring – the perfect metaphor for an old marriage.
So remember guys: don't marry, get a Porsche and enjoy life.No wonder women invented these rumors about the middle-aged man's crisis! Otherwise, nobody would ever sign up for the minivan suburban life.
On a completely different, more serious note: If you're going to get this generation of Odyssey, it might as well be the model from 2002 and onwards, where the V6 got bumped to 240 horsepower and they put disc brakes on the back.
