The Pebble Beach frenzy debuted last weekend and the Prancing Horse showed just how much it has won the hearts of enthusiasts, taking center stage at the event. It all started with Pebble Beach hosting the US debut of Ferrari’s latest model, the F12 Berlinetta, with the brand also being present at the auction held on the Californian weekend.
A 1960 Ferrari California 250 LWB Spider Competizione dominated the auction, being acquired by an anonymous collector who paid over $11 million (EUR8.86 million at the current exchange rate).

We are talking about an extremely rare model, out of which only 9 units were built, with the purpose of being raced. This particular one comes from the Sherman M. Wolf collection, who bought it from its first owner back in 1979.
