The TT-R125E is the electric start version of the 2007 MY 125er TT. The bike is technically unchanged from its kick start sibling, sporting the same smaller wheels aimed at offering shorter riders with boosted confidence and a more firm foothold at low speed or when stopped. Keyed ignition prevents unwanted joyrides and add to the safety factor of the bike.
The air-cooled squared 124cc lump is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission for smooth power and torque delivery though the rev bans, while competition-derived features, such as the chain guard, lift holes, folding, serrated brake and shifter pedal, serrated pegs and Team Yamaha-inspired graphics add to the true overall value of this bike.
