The 2011 MY Yamaha TMAX is a maxi-scooter powered by a no-nonsense 499cc fuel-injection four-valve-per-cylinder with liquid cooling and highly capable to tour. If you're looking for a comfortable commuting solution but with enough brawn to cruise the highways and take you on a vacation, the TMAX will get the job done.
Continuously-variable automatic transmission and a smooth, linear power response will make the TMAX feel closer to a bike than to a scooter, while at the same time offering more confidence.
Motorbike-type fork and hydraulic brake system with a parking brake and motorcycle-spec charcoal canister fuel evaporation recovery are also standard for a better, less polluting ride.
