YAMAHA Stratoliner Deluxe (2011-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2012, the Japanese manufacturer launched the Yamaha Startoliner Deluxe, a touring machine powered by a massive V-twin air-cooled engine fitted in a low and long aluminum frame, delivering excellent power performance and handling.

The 2012 Yamaha Stratoliner came in the same form as its predecessor but with minor technical department improvements and no significant modifications, except for color alterations.

The bike featured a motorcycle-friendly Garmin Zumo 665 GPS unit with a flip-down design, packed with features such as a navigation system, Bluetooth, satellite radio, real-time traffic and weather, road condition warnings, and much more.

The bike packed standard features, such as a wide handlebar, a front fairing with a small windscreen and an integrated sound system, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a two-piece dual seat, 12-spoke lightweight wheels, and hard side-mounted, color-matched panniers.

The 2012 Yamaha Stratoliner packed the same 1,854cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine as its predecessors, delivering an output power of 99 hp with a peak at 4,250 rpm and 167 Nm (123 lb-ft) torque at 2,250 rpm.

The bike's handling was achieved by a 46 mm preload-adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a link-type spring preload-adjustable shock absorber on the rear, delivering excellent handling performance.

In the braking department, the 2012 Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe was fitted with four-piston calipers engaging two 298 mm discs on the front wheel and a 320 mm disc squeezed by a single-piston caliper on the rear wheel.
