YAMAHA Stratoliner Deluxe (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2011, Yamaha brought into the cruiser market the Stratoliner Deluxe, a cruiser machine powered by a massive V-twin engine fitted in a low and long aluminum frame. Compared to the standard and S versions, the Deluxe featured additional visual improvements.

The 2011 Motorcycle packed standard features, such as a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a two-piece dual seat, a two-into-one chromed exhaust system, a wide handlebar, lightweight 12-spoke wheels, and several chromed accents.

In addition, the Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe version featured a front fairing that reached over the handlebar, with a small, aggressive windscreen and an integrated sound system. Also, it packed color-matched panniers for extra storage.

The bike came with the same package as its predecessor, packing a 1,854cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine with a fuel injection system, boasting 99 hp on tap with maximum strength at 4,250 rpm and 167 Nm (123 lb-ft) torque at 2,250 rpm.

The engine power was handled by a five-speed manual transmission and sent to the rear wheel through a final belt drive, offering smooth and quiet performance.

The braking power was achieved by a single-piston caliper with a 320 mm disc on the rear wheel and two 298 mm discs with four-piston calipers on the front wheel, delivering excellent stopping power.

The bike's suspension was handled by a 46 mm preload-adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a link-type spring preload-adjustable shock absorber on the rear, with excellent suspension performance and handling capabilities.
