YAMAHA Stratoliner Deluxe (2009-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2006, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Yamaha XV1900A, a cruising machine known as the Midnight Star in the UK, Star Roadliner in the US, and Star Startoliner, which was a US touring version.

In 2010, alongside the Star Roadliner, Star Stratoliner, and Star Stratoliner S, Yamaha released the Stratoliner Deluxe version that came with additional styling features. The bike was powered by the same engine, driven by the same suspension, and stopped by the same braking system as its predecessors.

The 2010 Yamaha Startoliner Deluxe packed standard features, such as a two-into-one chromed exhaust system, a two-piece dual seat with a low riding position, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and 12-spoke polished wheels.

In addition to its standard features, the 2010 Yamaha Startoliner Deluxe featured a front fairing with integrated speakers, iPod jack connectivity, and handlebar-mounted switch control. Also, it packed color-matched side-mounted panniers for extended storage.

The bike had a long, low- aluminum frame with a 46 mm preload-adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a link-type spring preload-adjustable shock absorber on the rear, delivering excellent suspension performance and handling.

The bike's power was delivered by a 1,854cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine that boasted 99 hp with a maximum peak force at 4,250 rpm and 167 Nm (123 lb-ft) torque at 2,250 rpm.

The 2010 Yamaha Startoliner Deluxe's power was handled by a five-speed manual transmission, delivered to the rear wheel through a final belt drive.
