YAMAHA Stratoliner (2009-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Yamaha XV1900A was a cruiser motorcycle manufactured by Yamaha from 2006 to 2017. The bike was known as the Star Roadliner in the US, the Star Stratoliner touring version in the US, and Midnight Star in the UK.

The bike was produced to fit in the large displacement section of large cruisers and was sold in the American market through Yamaha's Star Motorcycles division. The motorcycle was the largest cruiser machine during its production period.

In 2009, The Japanese manufacturer released the Yamaha Stratoliner, a large touring machine that featured a large round headlight, a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, a two-piece dual seat, a two-into-one chromed exhaust system, and 12-spoke lightweight wheels.

In addition to its standard features, the 2009 Yamaha Stratoliner came equipped with touring accessories, including a quick-detachable windscreen, large side-mounted panniers for extra storage, and a quick detachable passenger backrest for more comfort.

In the performance department, the bike was fitted with a 1,854cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine with a fuel injection system, delivering an output power of 99 hp at 4,250 rpm and 167 Nm (123 lb-ft) torque at 2,250 rpm.

The bike's suspension comprised a 41 mm Kayaba inverted telescopic fork on the front with 135 mm wheel travel and a link-type preload and rebound-adjustable shock absorber with 109 mm wheel travel.

As for braking performance, the wheels were fitted with four-piston calipers with two 298 mm discs on the front and a 320 mm disc with a single-piston caliper on the rear, providing strong stopping power.
