The Yamaha Majesty 400 is a heavier than the 250, but has beefed up suspension and a much more touring biased set of bodywork panels. The Yamaha Majesty 400's single cylinder 395 cc unit is really quiet, smooth and pleasant to use, but a mere 35 hp (25.7 Kw) pushing along 197 kg (434.4 lbs) dry, just isn't enough oomph for the open road - especially when riding two-up.
