The 2011 MY Piaggio MP3 500 addresses those MP3 fans who want as much power as possible out of their trike. It has been fitted with a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 492cc, single cylinder Master engine paired to a continuously variable transmission, and can produce 40 horsepower and 42 Nm of torque. In addition, it has a claimed max speed of 89 mph, and a gas mileage of 55-57 mpg, which seriously increase the desirability of this machine among Piaggio fans and not only.

Technology-wise, it features the acclaimed parallelogram front suspension system, with electro-hydraulic suspension locking system, which make for one of the most agile and comfortable machines ever to be designed by the Italian engineers from Piaggio.
