The 2009 MY Piaggio MP3 500 addresses those riders who want a trike that will stand out in any crowd, as well as offer enhanced performance and rider safety. At its heart lies a four-stroke, single cylinder Master lump capable of producing 40 horsepower and 42 Nm of torque, and is mated to a continuously variable transmission. It comes standard with the revolutionary parallelogram front suspension technology, a double steel tube bumper with metal mesh inserts, steel disc brakes which shorten stopping distance by up to 20 %, as well as a rear luggage rack with pillion grab rails, which increase its long haul capabilities.
