For novice riders and not only, the engineers from Piaggio have launched the 2011 MY FLY 50, which has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder Leader lump mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 11 horsepower and 3 Nm of torque. It features a wide front shield, for better protection, passenger grab rails, low and wide 12" alloy wheels, which aid in maneuverability as well as stability, both front and rear disc brakes, for improved rider safety, as well as an under-seat storage compartment generous enough for a full size helmet.
