In 2009, Pierre Terblanche and Miguel Galluzi, two of the most brilliant motorcycle designers of all time, joined forces to exercise their styling capabilities centered around the essence of the Moto Guzzi brand.

The Moto Guzzi V12 Strada concept motorcycle has been developed around the 1,200cc V-twin engine from Mandello del Lario. It was a tribute to the one engine that made the Italian eagle badge into a myth of motorcycling with a unique character.

The Concept bike was a commitment from the Moto Guzzi brand to keep developing, manufacturing, and improving their flagship engine for the years to come. The bike was made with great attention to detail, leaving no cable tangling unnecessary and not a single off-key detail to be found.

Visually, the 2009 Moto Guzzi V12 Strada had an aggressive design with a single headlight unit mounted on the fork, a floating two-seater, a hidden exhaust system under the belly, a single-sided swingarm, and ten-spoke lightweight aluminum wheels.

The prototype came with innovative features and solutions, such as the rear suspension system of the V12 Le Mans, LCD rearview mirrors, LED lights, suspended passenger footpegs, and heat sinks.

It was the most versatile model in the V12 range, perfect for everyday commuting and very comfortable for two-up riding, delivering the ideal ergonomics.

It was powered by a 1,151cc V-twin engine that exhaled through a two-into-one exhaust system with three-way catalytic converters and an oxygen sensor.
