MOTO GUZZI NTX 650 (1991-1992) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Moto Guzzi NTX was an enduro-styled motorcycle manufactured by Moto Guzzi in 1987 as a replacement model for the Moto Guzzi V65 TT. It continued production until 1995, when it was replaced by the Moto Guzzi Quota model.

The bike was in a smaller 350cc version created for the Italian market. It wasn't exported into the British market due to a rule prohibiting plastic fuel tanks at the time, which was one of the bike's characteristics. Also, it was considered the most ugliest motorcycle ever produced.

In 1991, the Italian motorcycle launched the Moto Guzzi NTX 650, an enduro motorcycle in its fifth year of production. The bike packed the same specifications as the previous models without any modifications.

The bike's visual appearance was characterized by standard features, such as wire-spoke wheels, an under-seat-mounted exhaust, side-mounted rear shocks, a passenger grab rail with a small luggage rack, a one-piece dual seat, a small windscreen, a front cowl with an integrated rectangular headlight, and a high-mounted front fender.

The bike's suspension system comprised a 40 mm Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front with 210 mm of travel and an aluminum dual-sided swingarm coupled to twin five-position adjustable shock absorbers on the rear.

As for the power figures, the 1991 Moto Guzzi NTX 650 had its heartbeat set by a 643cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled powerhouse managed by two Dell'Orto carburetors, boasting 50 hp at 7,050 rpm and 49 Nm (36 lb-ft) torque at 4,000 rpm.
