The Moto Guzzi Griso was a series of naked road motorcycles produced by Moto Guzzi from 2005 to 2016 in three different engine sizes. The 1100 was presented in August 2005, the 850 in April 2006, and the 1200 8V in November 2006 and sold since September 2007.

In 2006, at the Milan Motorcycle Show, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer introduced the Moto Guzzi Grisso 1200 8V and sold it starting in 2007. It featured a new engine, a more comfortable seat for the passenger, more tapered side panels, Brembo brakes, and a new exhaust system.

In 2008, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V, a naked road motorcycle with the same technical, visual, and performance specifications as the previous model without any significant modifications.

Visually, the bike was similar to the previous model, packing the same standard features, including a round headlight up front, a wide handlebar, a one-piece dual seat, a two-into-one exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the left side, and lightweight three-spoke aluminum wheels.

As for the power figures, the 2008 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V had installed a 1,151cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine underneath its fuel tank fed by a fuel injection system, delivering 110 hp at 7,500 rpm and 108 Nm (80 lb-ft) torque at 6,400 rpm.
