MOTO GUZZI Griso 1200 8V (2007-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2006, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer presented the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V at the Milan Motor Show, which started sales in September 2007. The bike was fitted with a brand new 1,200cc engine with a single overhead camshaft, four valves per cylinder, and air-cooled.

In addition to the new engine, the bike also received a new, more comfortable seat for the passenger, more tapered side panels, a new Brembo braking system, and a new two-into-one exhaust system with a single silencer and a double offset end cap.

In the visual department, the motorcycle had standard features, such as a round headlight up front, a wide handlebar, a one-piece dual seat, a two-into-one exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the left side, and lightweight three-spoke aluminum wheels.

The bike rolled out from the factory doors on 17-inch three-spoke aluminum wheels managed by two 320 mm discs on the front coupled to a four-piston caliper and a 282 mm disc on the rear tied to a dual-piston caliper, acting as stopping power.

In the performance department, the 2007 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V had installed a 1,151cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine managed by a fuel injection system, delivering 108 hp at 7,500 rpm and 108 Nm (80 lb-ft) torque at 6,400 rpm.
