MOTO GUZZI Griso 1200 8V SE (2009-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Moyo Guzzi Griso 1200 8V was a naked road motorcycle introduced in 2006 at the Milan Moto Show and released into production starting September 2007. It packed a new engine, a slightly more comfortable seat for the passenger, more tapered side panels, a new Brembo braking system, and a new exhaust system connected to a double offset end cap silencer.

In 2009, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE, a special edition motorcycle that proudly shows off its Satin Green color scheme in honor of Omobono Tenni.

Compared with the basic model, the special edition machine packed several differences, like wire-spoke wheels with tubeless tires, a black frame, and a one-piece dual brown leather seat. In addition, the Satin Green livery went out of production at the end of 2011, replaced by another special edition motorcycle with a Black Devil paint.

Suspension-wise, the special edition motorcycle packed a 43 mm fully adjustable inverted fork on the front and a progressive single swingarm coupled to a fully adjustable shock absorber on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling.

As for power, the 2009 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE had its soul brought to life by a 1,151cc four-stroke air/oil-cooled V-twin engine. The engine was managed by a fuel injection system, delivering 110 hp at 7,500 rpm and 113 Nm (83 lb-ft) torque at 5,800 rpm.
