MOTO GUZZI Griso 1200 8V (2009-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Moto Guzzi Griso was a series of naked road motorcycles manufactured by Moto Guzzi between 2005 and 2016 in three different versions: the Moto Guzzi Griso 1100, Moto Guzzi Griso 850, and Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V.

In 2009, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V, a naked cruising motorcycle presented in November 2006 and released into the world starting with 2007.

The other two smaller machines, the Griso 1100 and Griso 850, remained in production until 2008, when they were replaced entirely by the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V range. Also, for the 2009 model year, the maker released a special edition version of the 1200 8V model with a Satin Green livery in honor of Omobono Tenni.

The 2009 base model had standard features, such as a round headlight with a chromed housing, a wide handlebar, a one-piece dual seat, a blacked-out engine, a dual exhaust system with a silencer on the left side, and three-spoke aluminum wheels.

As for the power figures, the 2009 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V took its muscles from a 1,151cc four-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine mounted underneath the fuel tank. The engine was managed by a Multipoint sequential electronic injection system, delivering 110 hp with maximum strength at 7,500 rpm and 108 Nm (80 lb-ft) torque at 6,400 rpm.
