The 2011 MY Kymco Downtown 300i sports a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder powerplant paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It comes standard with dual-beam, quartz halogen head lights, five-way adjustable shock absorbers as a rear suspension, a front and rear disc brake, a lit underseat storage compartment that can house two helmets, plus a water-tight storage compartment for a cellphone with a 12V accessory outlet.
