KTM 790 Adventure (2022-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The KTM 790 Adventure was a travel enduro motorcycle made by the Austrian manufacturer, and because of its performance, price, and position in the KTM range, the model fell into the mid-range category.

In 2017, at the EICMA Motorcycle Show, KTM presented for the first time a prototype of the 790 Adventure motorcycle, in 2018 at the same location the manufacturer introduced the finished product, and in 2019, the KTM 790 Adventure was launched into the market.

In 2019, the KTM 790 Adventure was made available by the manufacturer in two versions, such as the base version that was often referred to as S and the more off-road-oriented KTM 790 Adventure R, while in 2020, the maker added the 790 Adventure R Rally, which was a special edition model that came in 500 units.

For 2023, the manufacturer presented the new KTM 790 Adventure that was redesigned in Mattighofen, Austria but the production line took place at CFMOTO in China, where they have first-class facilities and high standards.

The 2023 model was more stable at a constant speed with more cornering capabilities thanks to a 20 percent increase of rotating mass that didn't mess with the highly rated agility of the bike.

Some highlights of the 2023 model included superb performance and technical specifications, refinements brought upon the bodywork and ergonomics with the same crisp handling and light sensation, an LC8c engine with more rideable power that met EURO5 emission standards, a new TFT display with the redesigned menu system, and new Pirelli Scorpion STR tires with large tread blocks for more off-road capability.
