The KTM 200 DUKE was a standard motorcycle manufactured by the Austrian bike maker from 2012, equipped with a 199cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine coupled to a six-speed manual transmission with a cable-operated multi-disc clutch.

Until 2020, the Machine was available only for Asian, European, and South American markets when the Austrian manufacturer released it for the North American market. Also, in 2020 the bike received an updated styling and borrowed several components from the 390 models to resemble other DUKE machines.

In 2021, the maker released the KTM 200 DUKE, an aggressive-looking machine with a lightweight tubular chassis containing a light and reliable 199cc engine that delivered smooth and instant throttle response.

The bike's engine was fitted with a top-shelf electronic injection system and a six-speed transmission, delivering excellent performance with low fuel consumption. The exhaust system had a catalytic converter that reduced emissions even at full-throttle riding.

In the safety department, the bike was packed with 10-spoke lightweight wheels fitted with a high-tech BYBRE braking system comprised of a 300 mm disc bolted to the front wheel and a 230 mm disc on the rear wheel, working in tandem with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), offering strong stopping power.

The 2021 KTM 200 DUKE took its muscles from a 199cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit, boasting 26 hp with maximum strength at 10,000 rpm and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) torque at 6,800 rpm. The power was delivered to the rear wheel through the six-speed transmission and a final chain drive.

When it was released in 2021, the KTM 200 DUKE was sold for an MSRP of $3,999 in the US and $4,599 CDN in Canada.
