KTM 125 DUKE (2017-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The KTM 125 Duke was a standard naked motorcycle manufactured by KTM from 2011. It was designed in 2007 at the company's headquarters in Mattighofen and has been produced by KTM's Indian partner, Bajaj Auto, since 2011.

In 2013, KTM became the first producer to introduce an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) in this class. In addition, the maker introduced in 2014 the KTM 200 Duke, which used the same engine as the 125 Duke.

In 2017, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer launched the KTM 125 Duke. The bike featured an aggressive styling with its LED headlight, steel fuel tank, and various high-quality cast components.

It packs standard features, such as a dual headlight system, a two-piece dual seat, side panels, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right side, and lightweight ten-spoke wheels.

The bike was built around a powder-coated steel trellis frame with a 43 mm WP inverted fork on the front and a WP shock absorber on the rear, acting as suspension, offering excellent handling capabilities.

Its 17-inch wheels were fitted with a single 300 mm disc on the front tied to a four-piston caliper and a 230 mm disc on the rear engaged by a single-piston caliper, delivering excellent braking performance.

As for power, the 2017 KTM 125 Duke had its heartbeat set by a 125cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 15 hp at 10,500 rpm and 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque at 8,000 rpm.
