KTM 125 Duke (2011-2016) Specs, Performance & Photos

The KTM 125 Duke and 200 Duke were small-displacement naked motorcycles manufactured by KTM from 2011. The 200 Duke model was specially designed for the Asian market.

The motorcycles completed KTM's range with small displacement engines and were designed in 2007 at their headquarters in Mattighofen and produced by the maker's Indian partner BAJAJ Auto in Punce since 2011. The 250cc Duke was released in September 2017.

KTM was the first manufacturer to introduce ABS in its class in 2013. In addition, they released the faired KTM RC 125 in 2014, which packed the same engine as the KTM 125 Duke. Its most significant update took place in 2017.

In 2011, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer launched the KTM 125 Duke, a small displacement naked motorcycle with low fuel consumption, offering reasonable cost-effectiveness.

The bike was built around a powder-coated steel trellis frame with a 38 mm WP inverted telescopic fork on the front, delivering 160 mm of travel, and a WP mono shock on the rear with 160 mm of travel.

The braking power was achieved by a 280 mm disc mounted on the front wheel engaged by a four-piston caliper and a 220 mm disc on the rear wheel with a single-piston caliper.

As for the power figures, the 2011 KTM 125 Duke had its soul brought to life by a 125cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, boasting 15 hp at 9,500 rpm and 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque at 8,000 rpm
