KTM 1050 Adventure (2016-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The KTM 1050 Adventure was presented at the 2014 EICMA Show in Milan and is an entry-level travel enduro motorcycle manufactured by KTM from 2015 until 2016. The bike was assembled in Mattighofen until 2016.

Although it was an entry-level enduro machine, it featured KTM's top-end spec Ride Mode Technology electronics, like an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and traction control that allowed more or less slippage to the rear wheel depending on the ride mode selected.

In 2016, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer launched the KTM 1050 Adventure. The bike is positioned underneath its larger siblings, 1290 Super Adventure, 1190 Adventure, and 1190 Adventure R.

It is fitted with standard features, such as a half fairing with a small windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with pillion grab rails, a small luggage rack, a two-into-one exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right side, and 12-spoke lightweight wheels.

The 2016 KTM 1050 Adventure's power comes from a 1,050cc four-stroke two-cylinder liquid-cooled engine fed by a fuel injection system, delivering 94 hp at 6,200 rpm and 107 Nm (79 lb-ft) torque at 5,750 rpm.

The bike's front end was handled by a 43 mm WP inverted fork and two 320 mm discs with four-piston Brembo calipers, while the rear was driven by a WP shock absorber and a 267 mm discs tied to a dual-piston Brembo caliper.
